HBU’s online class, along with the required hands-on training, will provide you with the information you’ll need to obtain your EPA Renovator Certification. You’ll be able to study in the comfort of your home or office rather than taking a full day out of your busy schedule.
The online portion of the course can be done anywhere, anytime. No need to do the entire course in one sitting; you can stop and start up again right where you left off, as many times as needed.
Once you’ve completed the online course, you’ll be able to print a certificate and take it with you to the hands-on training, where you will learn important lead safety work practices and take the final examination for your RRP Certification and it will only take three hours in a classroom instead of eight.
The online course consists of recorded video, some text, a few short quizzes and a short test at the end. (You can take the test as many times as needed to finish the course.) Take a look at the video to get a sample of the course content. There is also a downloadable student manual and links to other important information throughout the course.
The course is intended for anyone who does work for compensation on homes or child occupied facilities built prior to 1978.Length of the course is approximately 5 hours. The cost of the Online portion is $50. There is an additional fee for the hands-on portion of the course.
