. A suite of outsourced services designed to take the hassle, risk, and unnecessary cost out of the builder warranty period. Endorsed by the OHBA, AxisPointe can help improve your customer and warranty service to reduce your cost and improve referrals rates. AxisPointe provides builder-branded closing packets including an online service request system as well as warranty callback processing and subcontractor insurance verification. AxisPointe has enrolled over 1300 builders and developers nationwide.
Check out their website at www.axispointe.com, and when you’re looking at it, remember that Oregon law will require, as of July 1, 2008, that all new home purchasers be provided with a recommended maintenance schedule. OHBA recently endorsed Global Construction Insurance & Risk Services (GCIRS) to offer a new insurance program specially designed to meet the needs of the construction industry. GCIRS provide an array of insurance coverages including general liability and umbrella liability. We’ll be sending you more information very shortly, but we believe that new program will allow OHBA members to obtain quality insurance products with competitive pricing and excellent service, and we expect that this will be one of the most valuable member benefits that we offer.
Call us for more information and watch your email and regular mail for additional details soon.
This is the best bulk purchasing program we ’ve seen, and one that’s only available to OHBA members. Great discounts are available on such products as:
o ADP Payroll Services
o Airgas (including safety supplies)
o Global Crossing conference calling
o Sherwin-Williams
But the best discounts are for Staples (average savings of 10-20%) and Verizon Wireless (17% discount for cell and data service, $20 monthly fee for unlimited data service for Blackberry or PDAs on corporate accounts). You can run the numbers for your own use of office supplies, but just take a minute to think about your cell phone bill and see how quickly your HBA dues pay for themselves with this program alone! (Please note that the Verizon Wireless program is primarily for construction and trade contractors, so please check to see if your company qualifies).
Please contact your local EO for more details as to how you can take advantage of these great HBA-only discounts.
